Eco Tuindag
Het Voedselbos (the Food Forest) is a permaculture educational farm in Belgium. Every year they organize events to create awareness, involve people in what they do and raise funds for inside projects. This year I was living there so of course I was excited to help with the design. In the beginning of June we had the second edition of the Eco Tuindag (Open Garden Day) with guided tours, lucky draw, children’s activities, butterflies, food, drinks and a lot of flowers as decoration. It was a wonderful day, where I felt very proud for the work I had been doing there and when seeing the awe in people’s faces made me feel very lucky for living in such a beautiful (and edible) place.
