“Aus Liebe zum Essen” is German for “For the Love of Food”.

This was an exhibition that targeted both adults and children and aimed to create awareness about food waste through infographics, games, lucky draws and give-aways with important information. Since this can be a dull subject, it was of paramount importance to make all materials appealing and approachable.

It revolved around the 5 steps (5 schritte) to save food at home, where the biggest problem resides. Unlike what most people think, household waste accounts for around 45% of all food waste (data from Switzerland).

The exhibition has been held several times in Switzerland and then part of it was featured at Expo Milano, in Italy.

I feel pride when I see all of it together and people interacting with the materials I designed, especially children! It was probably one of the biggest projects I worked on and I’m grateful for the opportunity and all the support and helpful feedback I got from the Brief and Foodwaste teams.
